William Empson is Head of Learning & Development , Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF OCG) since 2019.  

He started his assignment as Head of L&D in November 2019. William Empson has been working with Humanitarian organisation for 18 years, first with local NGOs in the middle-East and in the South Caucasus and then with MSF, since 2007. He has been deployed in different field position, notably in Iran, Niger, South Sudan, Haiti, Syria, Iraq and Lebanon.

William Empson has completed his Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action with the Centre in 2015.
