Tala Ezz Edin

Tala, originally a dentist by profession, transitioned her career to humanitarian work when she joined the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as a Health Field Officer in Syria.

During her tenure with the ICRC, she pursued and obtained a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

After more than five years with the ICRC, Tala relocated to Geneva to enroll in the master’s program at the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies, where she earned a MAS in Humanitarian Action.

While in Geneva, she worked as a consultant with UNITAR, contributing to the development of an E-learning course for the Global Breastfeeding Education Initiative.

Currently, Tala is employed with a medical humanitarian organization, serving as an internationally hired Advocacy Manager.
