Lecturer, education consultant and expert in humanitarian projects, Claire Barthélémy has over 15 years’ experience in adult education, business management and humanitarian action. Passionate about adult education and sustainable development, she is committed to creating innovative and inclusive learning environments.
After a Masters in Humanitarian Programme Management, Claire began her career as a humanitarian project manager for organisations such as Médecins Sans Frontières. She managed health and education projects in complex and volatile contexts such as Pakistan, Sudan and Liberia, coordinating multicultural teams and negotiating with public authorities and armed groups.
From 2017 to 2019, Claire worked at the Geneva Centre of Humanitarian Studies as the Head of the Master and Diploma of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Action. Since 2020, she has served as a Lecturer, designing training programmes and running courses on leadership and advocacy. At the same time, she founded ‘Évolution’, a company dedicated to education, social cohesion and sustainable development. She develops training, advocacy and evaluation projects to educate and raise awareness of social and environmental issues.
